Most blockages are surprisingly mundane — wet wipes that shouldn't have been flushed, hair, kitchen grease, soap scum. We clear them quickly with the right equipment for the job: hand augers for toilets, drain rods for outside, high-pressure jetters for stubborn ones.
Anyone can pour drain cleaner down the sink. The difference with us: we identify why it blocked. A repeated blockage in the same place usually means a pipe issue (bellying, partial collapse, rooting) — we'll spot it and tell you so you're not doing this every six months.
How it works
Common questions
What if you can't clear it?
Very rare with our equipment, but if so we charge £55 for the visit and quote the next step (excavation, drain lining, etc). You're never left without options.
Is the £95 a fixed price?
Yes for a standard single-blockage clearance. If the blockage is in the main sewer (typically deep, requires jetter or rods on a main run) it's £140. We confirm which before starting.
Will you make a mess?
Some splash is possible but we dust-sheet the area first and clean up properly afterwards. We carry our own absorbent mats and cleaning supplies.
What can I do to prevent it?
Don't flush wet wipes (even 'flushable' ones aren't), pour cooking fat in the bin not the sink, and run hot water down the kitchen sink for 30 seconds after washing up. That alone solves 80% of repeat blockages.
