How it works

00
Gas leak? Call 0800 111 999 first
If you smell gas, leave immediately, don't use any electrical switches, and call the National Gas Emergency Service. They come free. Then call us once it's safe.
01
Call us — 07999 998 522
Real person answers. We assess the urgency: is it dangerous, urgent, or can it wait until morning? We don't pad the urgency to charge more.
02
We give you an ETA
Honest arrival time. If we're 4 hours away, we'll tell you. Sometimes we'll talk you through a temporary fix on the phone (turning off a stopcock, resetting a boiler) to buy you time.
03
Make safe + diagnose
First priority: isolate the problem so it can't get worse. Then diagnose the cause. We'll explain what needs to happen and the cost before doing it.
04
Fix or schedule
If we can fix it in the visit, we do. If parts are needed, we make safe and book the repair for the next available slot — usually same week.
FAQs

Common questions

FAQ-01

What does the £150 actually cover?

Attendance + the first hour on site. That's enough for most emergencies (resets, leak isolation, diagnosis). If parts or extra labour are needed, we quote in writing before doing it.

FAQ-02

Is the callout fee included if I go ahead with the repair?

No, but it covers the time we spent diagnosing. Standard hourly rate applies after the first hour. We'll always quote the total cost before continuing.

FAQ-03

How fast can you come?

Within central London/M25, usually 1-2 hours. Further out, 2-4 hours. Bank holidays and Christmas can be longer — we're honest about it.

FAQ-04

Should I call you for a gas leak?

No, call 0800 111 999 (National Gas Emergency Service) first. They'll make it safe at no charge. Once they've isolated the gas, call us to fix the underlying cause.

FAQ-05

What if it turns out to be nothing?

We charge the £150 for the visit regardless — it covers our time getting to you and confirming the property is safe. If it was genuinely a non-issue, we'll often credit it against a future booking.
