Kitchen plumbing is more than just a tap and a drain. There's the sink waste (often shared with the dishwasher), hot and cold feeds, isolation valves, possibly a water filter, an instant boiling water tap, a washing machine outlet, and — if you're going gas — a gas hob connection too. Every one of those needs to be right, accessible for future maintenance, and compliant with regulations.
We work with kitchen fitters and on standalone jobs. If you've hired a kitchen company, we'll coordinate with their schedule. If you're renovating yourself, we plan the plumbing first so the units fit around it, not the other way round.
Every quote is fixed-price after a free home survey. We don't do hourly rates on kitchen jobs because they always run longer than expected — you should know the cost up front.
How it works
Common questions
How much does kitchen plumbing cost?
Highly variable — a simple sink and dishwasher install might be £450-£600. A full kitchen with multiple appliances, boiling tap, and gas hob runs £1,200-£2,500. Quoted fixed-price after survey.
Do you supply the appliances?
We can, but most customers buy their own (better choice, often cheaper). We just install. We can recommend brands and models if you'd like advice.
Can you fit a Quooker or instant boiling tap?
Yes. These need a dedicated tank under the sink, an electrical supply, and proper isolation. We fit Quooker, Insinkerator, Grohe Red, and Franke Minerva. Includes plumbing and electrical (we work with a registered electrician).
What about gas hob connections?
We're Gas Safe registered for hob installations. Includes proper gas pipe routing, pressure test, and safety check. Comes with a gas safety certificate.
How long without a working kitchen?
For a full reno, plan on 1-2 days for plumbing first fix, plus another half day for second fix once cabinets are in. We coordinate with your kitchen fitter so the gap between water-on and water-off is minimised.
