Adding a radiator to a cold conservatory. Replacing tired panel radiators with sleek vertical ones. Fitting a heated towel rail in a refurbished bathroom. Whether it's a swap or a new install, we handle the lot.
The £180 price covers labour and standard fittings for a like-for-like replacement (same location, same valve type). New installations into rooms without existing pipework are quoted after a short site visit — typically £280-£450 depending on pipe run length.
You can supply your own radiator (B&Q, Wickes, Victorian Plumbing, Trade Radiators all fine) or we can supply at trade prices.
How it works
Common questions
What size radiator do I need?
Depends on room size, insulation, window count, and external walls. We size every install using BTU calculations — undersized radiators leave rooms cold, oversized ones waste gas.
Can you fit a designer/vertical radiator?
Yes. They're slightly more involved (heavier, often need stronger fixings, taller pipework) but we do them regularly. Add £40-£60 to the standard price.
Will you redecorate the wall behind?
We'll fill any holes from old fixings and leave it ready for paint. Full repainting isn't included — most customers either DIY it or arrange a decorator separately.
Heated towel rail vs radiator?
Towel rails put out less heat (typically 600-1200 BTUs vs 4000+ for a panel radiator). Fine for small bathrooms, often supplemented with underfloor heating in larger ones. We'll advise honestly.
